It gives me a great pleasure to welcome you to the official webpage of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the United Kingdom.
I hope that you will find Embassy’s web resources, including our site, Facebook page and Twitter account, useful and informative. They are all designed to provide you with updates and insights on Kazakhstan with a view to help enhance our government-to-government and people-to-people partnerships even further.
By way of this welcome note, I am offering my assistance and the assistance of Embassy diplomats to all our British friends who are willing to learn more about Kazakhstan, travel there or do business in our country. Please feel free to contact us by email or phone as shown in the “contacts” section on our website.
I find it very symbolic that I started my current UK assignment in 2017 – the year when we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of Kazakh-British diplomatic relations. It is also symbolic that I am writing this note at the time of Nauryz – Central Asian New Year, which starts on spring equinox and heralds revival of nature, new life and new beginnings.
So, it is in the vibrant spirit of Nauryz that I welcome you to discover Kazakhstan and hope that you will find there abundant new opportunities and exciting new travel destinations.
Happy Nauryz and qosh keldiniz!
